Real Oviedo Foundation partners with Voon Sports to enhance player development and cognitive skills

Voon Sports, a leader in technological innovation for football development, is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Real Oviedo Foundation. This collaboration aims to improve both the footballing skills and cognitive abilities of the players at the Real Oviedo Football School by incorporating Voon Football Pro smart rebounders into their training sessions.

The Real Oviedo Football School provides boys and girls with the opportunity to train using the club’s youth academy methodology, promoting not only sports development but also essential values such as respect, discipline, tolerance, and teamwork. The school’s training methods focus on prioritising technical development with structured sessions based on age and skill level, always placing emphasis on the fun aspect of the game.

 

With the addition of Voon Sports’ smart rebounders, the training sessions will become even more comprehensive, allowing young players to improve their ball control, passing accuracy, and real-time decision-making. Moreover, Voon Football Pro’s technology will assist coaches in accurately assessing the players’ progress and tailoring training to their individual needs.

Furthermore, the Voon Football Pro rebounders will also be utilised by the players of Real Oviedo Genuine, champions of the 2023/24 Liga Genuine, a competition that promotes diversity and includes players with intellectual disabilities. This initiative strengthens the club and its Foundation’s commitment to social inclusion through sport.

 

Additionally, the footballers in the Real Oviedo International programme, who come from various parts of the world to train at the FUNDOMA residence, will also benefit from this cutting-edge technology. With over 30 international players in its ranks, this area has become a benchmark for global talent development, and Voon Sports’ rebounders will play a key role in their training.
