Valencia centre-back and European champion Yarek Gasiorowski is the future of Valencia. Spain have won the European Under-19 Championship and a large part of the blame lies with centre-back Yarek Gasiorowski.

Born in Poliñá de Júcar in 2005, Yarek came to the youth academy thanks to a tip-off from his village priest to a Valencia worker. The Spanish-Polish centre-back stands out for his great presence, aerial play and ball control, according to The Guardian he is the most promising player born in 2005.


His first-team debut came in October 2023, and he has ended up playing 16 games this season in which he has shown signs of his promising future. At the age of 17 he decided to play for Spain over Poland, and since then he has been a key player in the national youth team, winning the U-19 European Championship as one of the mainstays and scoring 5 goals in his last 10 games for Spain.
